the Beautiful Black Man who, along with his
wife, Dr. Sara Lee, the first two Big Black
Dentists to qualify and practice in all of
Ghana (city of Osu) starting in 1956 when
the whole family moved there, after he
served some in the U.S. Army Medical Corps
during the Korean War, and this distinction
of being the first Dentist there led him to
be appointed Nana Yao Jekete Odum I,
Okyeame of APrede, plus he organized to
create the Dr. W. E. B. Du Bois Center to
honor his friend, the Big Black Hero, and
he also worked to refurbish forts on the
coast of Ghana as monuments and reminders
to remember and prevent forced
enslavement in the future, but it all started
when he finished his undergrad at Lincoln
University, where he met future Ghanian
leader Kwame Nkrumah, and Black
Activist Dr. W. E. B. Du Bois, then
he matriculated into Meharry U. Dental
School and graduated with a D.D.S. degree
in 1945, the same year he married Dr. Sara Lee,
who graduated with a D.D.S. that year too,
plus he has so many more accomplishments,
including a huge donation to build the
University of Ghana Dental School,
and we give flowers and say the name of...
